You will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and taken for a sightseeing tour to the San Diego Zoo, located about 93 miles from Anaheim.
The fully narrated journey will acquaint you with all the interesting aspects and background history of this world-famous zoo.
On arrival at the zoo, spend the next few hours seeing more than 4000 animals belonging to 800 species at the zoo.
For those traveling with kids, the Zoo offers a complete entertainment at its one-of-its-kind Children’s Zoo. Meet the Critters, Zoo games and much more awaits the little ones.
The Zoo has beautifully laid out botanical gardens, a three-mile safari and some of the rarest wildlife in the world including the giant pandas, lovable koalas and Komodo dragons. Absolutely Apes is one of its new enclosures and features orangutans and gorillas.
Elephant Odyssey: Journey through time at The Harry and Grace Steele Elephant Odyssey and discover what animals lived in Southern California 12,000 years ago and meet their living counterparts. The new 7.5-acre multispecies habitat features elephants, California condors, jaguars and more and offers guests insight about the Zoo’s conservation efforts to protect wildlife.
At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel in Anaheim.
